This
design was commissioned By Scott back in 2005. The
design was done in Autoship and parts were nested onto
pre-laminated DuFLEX panels and sent to Scott in
Thailand as a kitset from ATL composites. Scott and his
team have done an amazing job with the assembly of the
kitset, and the fairing and painting of the dark hull.
The boat was launched in 2006.
All of the best quality materials were used in construction and fitout.
The hull is constructed of DuFLEX panels, sheathed E-glass (balsa cored) using
"West System" resins and fairing powders. The vessel is painted with Awlgrip coatings and top coated
with black Metallic on the hull and Matterhorn white on deck.
The engines are 140hp, 4 stroke Suzuki's, 100hrs use. They have full instrumentation and have just installed hydraulic jack plates which is giving about 1.5 to 2 knots more speed.
Top speed is 33-35 knot depending on loading. Cruise speed is 24-25 knots.
Fuel tanks are epoxy 400 liters each, range is about 400 miles.
Water capacity is around 150 liters. There are also 2 epoxy reserve tanks.
Hummingbird GPS/plotter, full engine instrumentation, BEP instrument panel,
DVD/LCD TV, All 316 stainless handrails and fittings, Muir VR 800 anchor winch controls in cockpit, manship stainless deck hatches.
The boat has a forward cabin which sleeps 2 comfortably, ice box, huge storage
areas, Todd captains seat, hydraulic steering. pioneer marine sound system etc
The boat is light, efficient and built to the highest standards.
